Your photograph is very good and meets all the criteria: good composition, expressive, inventive and personal. Precision is very good. The small yellowish tone gives a small air of nostalgia and sadness, what adds to the emotion of regret which is very well felt. And the hand balances the whole.

There are so many things in the compostion: the triangle of the face with hair, the triangle of the shoulder towards the hand. The left eye and holding fingers hair is in the perfect tier of one very bigger than this photograph. What is very difficult to plan but our eye can grab it and this tells difference. Even if this thing are not all and always planned result is there and this explains the special quality of result.

Il y a tant d'éléments dans la compostion: le triangle du visage avec les cheveux, le triangle de l'éaule vers la main. L'oeil gauche et le doigts tenant les cheveux sont dans le tier parfait d'un tout plus grand que cette photo. Ce qui est très difficile à planifier mais notre oeil peut le saisir et ça fait la différence. Tout ces chose ne sont pas toutes et toujours planifiées, mais le résultat est là et ça explique la qualité exceptionnelle du résultat. Et c'est pour tout ça que je l'appércie tant.

Well, this is my first critique ever, so I'm not exactly sure how that will look to you. I hope it will be a help ^^

First of all, I really like the picture and to me her expression seems really intense. I like the way she looks straight in the camera, but I think it would have been better without her left hand up. The hair gives it a feeling of movement and as if she was disturbed in some action or just turned, so that the picture was taken, which is a quite nice feeling, too.

However, in my opinion it does not seem as creative as other portrays, though I think most portrays look kind of similar. That means you did a fairly good job, also with the quality of the picture and the colors that, at least to me, seem perfectly fitting.
